Marshall Reminds Veterans of Free Monthly Assistance Opportunity
CHIPPEWA — Rep. Jim Marshall (R-Beaver/Butler) reminds area veterans that his office hosts veterans assistance hours every month in Chippewa. On the first Thursday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., an American Legion representative will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to assist veterans and their families in the 14th District.

“Oftentimes, the programs, services and benefits offered to our veterans can be difficult to understand or access, and our service officer can help cut through the red tape and answer questions,” Marshall said. “I encourage area veterans to take advantage of this valuable service.”

Available services to veterans and their dependents will include assistance with: Veterans Affairs paperwork, compensation, pension and death benefits, education, health care and any other service-related issues.
