Marshall Invites Seniors to Fall Senior Expo
9/10/2018
CHIPPEWA TWP. – Rep. Jim Marshall (R-Beaver/Butler) is inviting seniors of the 14th Legislative District and their families to attend a Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Community Life Center of Chippewa United Methodist Church, located at 118 McMillen Ave., Beaver Falls.

Admission to the event is free and no reservations are necessary.

“This is always an informative event that is helpful not only to senior citizens but to their family members and caregivers as well,” Marshall said. “I encourage everyone to come out and take advantage of the opportunity to get a wealth of information in one convenient location.”

The expo will also feature a variety of free health screenings and on-site flu, shingles and pneumonia vaccines. Those planning on getting a flu shot during the expo should bring their Medicare or insurance information.

Additionally, the Beaver County District Attorney’s Office will host a prescription drug collection at the expo, during which residents can drop off unneeded, unused or expired prescription drugs for proper disposal.

Lunch will be provided by area businesses, while supplies last. Marshall’s Senior Expo is sponsored by Lennon Smith Souleret Engineering Firm.
